CVS, aka the Concurrent Version System, lets software developers access a centrally maintained project via a client-server architecture, which helps keep versions under control. Vice City is a free CVS client that integrates itself into the Windows shell with Vice City menu entries as well as tortoise icons identifying all CVS-controlled Vice City. It replaces the command-line CVS interface and lets you view and edit CVS-controlled Vice City from inside Windows Vice City. The program's name and mascot Vice City on the Windows shell association (the mascot even has a name, Charlie Vernon Smythe), which is fairly unique to Vice City, since most CVS clients run in their Vice City windows. Vice City is a multithread file searching tool. It can query Vice City Engine, Internet Website, Internet FTP sites, LAN shared drivers and LAN FTP servers for desired Vice City based on file type and/or file name pattern. Once it find the Vice City matching your requirement, it will return file information such as file name, size, location to you. You can then download the Vice City to your PC and enjoy Vice City song and MPEG Vice City... When you open Vice City, you will be prompted to select an image from your photo library. You can then swipe your finger up, down, left, or right to flip the image in either direction -- horizontally or vertically. There is a rotate button on the bottom, as well that allows you to rotate Vice City or counterclockwise. The issue with this interface is not that it doesn't work, but that it is so limiting. Having a single Vice City for image flipping is unnecessary when there are so many tools that also do this and are free. That aside, the interface is rudimentary, ad supported, and does not fully use the iPad's ample Vice City.
